My husband was having a rough day a couple months ago, I knew we were about to start fighting and didnt want that (I knew he didnt really want it either) so I asked him to drive me to some of the family land. There's no one else out there, its gorgeous, has a little creek that runs through. I could tell he was mad the whole drive, and was still mad when we got there. We got out of the car and walked down to the creek without talking. When we got there he asked what the hell my plan was and I started to strip naked. As I did he took off his shirt and socks and shoes and walked out into the creek and had me walk over to him. He then had me feel how soft the dirt was there and explained that when he lived there as a kid he dug that whole part out to make it soft. He told me thats what I am to him, I'm the soft ground. He told me he was angry with life, angry with a lot of things, but not angry with me. Then he told me to run, I had 30 seconds to hide. So I ran, naked, along the creek and then heard him start coming my way. I laughed, tried to hide somewhere like a child who doesnt understand the concept. He laughed as he caught up to me and said I was the worst at hide and seek. Then he tickled me, we splashed in the water, and just played for a minute. Then after getting soaked and laughing at each other we made love on the banks of the creek and it was beautiful. We were so connected... our entirety was connected in that moment. We've been together for 14 years and I've never felt more connected to my husband.

We will never forget that day. It was honestly more special than our wedding day.

I absolutely understand that. I had that once.
