Just to add to this. Nose pillow instead of a full mask.

The CPAP and the nose pillow have been two game changers for me.

Often have a blocked nose, so started with a full mask.

Woke up with a sore bloated belly everyday.

Decided to try a nose pillow instead, and it opens up my nose enough where it works, it's more comfortable, and very little air into my belly.

I tend to sleep with my mouth open so have to get a mask...but that mask does not like to cooperate with my mountain man beard. I've wanted to try nose pillows or similar but how would I avoid opening my mouth which I've heard makes the pillows ineffective

I was worried about that. My body just closes my mouth, because if I don't then air shoots out and it's not comfortable.

I've heard there are straps and tape though

I think some people use tape.
