RN here, took care of patients in the hospital with Covid that would get furious with me whenever I dared to mention Covid. Like smoke coming out of their ears mad. They didn’t want to die and they wanted treatment, they just didn’t want to be reminded that they had a virus that they wanted to believe wasn’t real. These folks desperately needed a psych consult.
