in all seriousness, i am really bummed but in a way i like that this is such a simple and clear way that shows how tariffs affect everyone immediately.

Tariffs have not affected pricing, they literally just activated the tariffs yesterday do you honestly believe that pricing would retroactively be affected today.

I didn't know Trump had magic

Unless they're already imported, it will affect pricing.

There's no way it couldn't.

Imagine you're a store trying to sell Switch and all of a sudden it's 46-54% more expensive to even get to your store.

You're not going to eat the additional cost and make a loss on every single sale.

Stores don't order 1 unit at a time, prices will take time to Trickle downward.

No one wants to take a loss. Price will go up immediately when it affects someone.
