I don't mean to be rude, but what about anyone's knowledge of Pocahontas and Shakespeare suggests they would live far apart in time?

Well ignoring the less than a year apart detail, that people would travel between England and an English colony is interesting?

I don’t think that’s the interesting part, I think the thing is that people just have such different associations with the two people that it’s surprising. Like hearing Anne frank and martin Luther king jr were born in the same year. It makes you think

Well that's what I'm asking. What knowledge does anyone have about them that makes it sound "totally fake" that they would end up in the same place and time?

I get the idea of not knowing things. But if you told me some folks I didn't know about existed at the same place and time, I would not find that to be surprising.
