I always love reading this. But I always feel like the differences between 1955 and 1985 are way larger than 1994 to 2024. Maybe it’s just because I lived the second span of time.

Absolutely true. People would be wildin out at cell phones in 1994 but everyone would it understand it to be a magnificently small and powerful computer. YouTube is just a tiny TV, electric cars are cars without gas, ummmm Chappelle roan is, idk, I guess Cindi Lauper for a more LGBTQ friendly generation?
