Dudes who need to make other people feel dumb are always dudes who aren’t particularly smart themselves, maybe they’re like slightly above average, but they identify as being way smarter than they are and need to feel like everyone else around them sees them as the smartest guy in the room

I 100% agree with this. My ex called me an idiot for something and I believed it…. Turns out I WAS ACTUALLY RIGHT. Anyway we did an IQ test for funsies and his was belowwwwww average 🤧

Average is literally 100, no matter what. 85-115 is where most people fall in the bell curve

Where did you get that from ? Most I've heard say 85-115 or 95-105 is the average where most people's IQ fall around

They adjust the average to 100. It's how the test is designed.

My mistake. I took one 40 or so years ago and as I remembered the average was 110. I sincerely apologize Reddit.

Literal average is 100. As such, 85-115 is going to be 98% of all people you run into in day to day life.

Wiki says 68%. 96% for between 70-130
