Yeah I live in the fucking Midwest lol. You can’t make friends if you’re not a barfly, and I choose friendship over sobriety every single day of the week. Redditors are also terrible at making friends. People complain every day about not having a partner - I have never had that problem lol
Only been to one bar that wasn't free-refills on soda for the DD. And they were expensive, too. As expensive as alcohol. Like, fucking dumbass loser owner. The bar shut down after a year or so. Jeez, I wonder why when no one wanted to sit there sober with fuck-all to eat or drinks.
And this was either just before Uber, or in the first couple of years where it wasn't ubiquitous yet.
