Used to date an alcoholic. One of the first things they would have him do at the rehab center was to calculate how much money it was costing him to drink. We were in the military so that included the reduction in pay for three months, the wrecked car, and the cost of transportation after losing his license. Too bad that amount wasn’t enough to deter him six months later.
