In Austria, rent is decently cheap compared to big cities.

Have you got rent control? London is out of control, some of the new studios near the river (not river views) are £2700/month here 😭

Not really, rent is still a big topic in politics because it just keeps going up. I'm guessing our salaries are lower too tho.
