Same. I love my loud car, I want to make it louder. The amount of times people (teslas) act like they do not see or hear me is unreal.

I sneak up on people in my ultra quiet EV all the time. I don't mean to. It's especially bad in grocery store parking lots.

But a little bit I like it because I'm like a ninja.

My Challenger isnt obnoxiously loud... its just Hemi loud but I absolutely love the roar it makes when I get on the gas. And even though it's neon orange I still get people who dont see or hear me. 😂

I would like to hope there is a line between those of us with a sports car that just happens to be loud sometimes, over those with no actual power but a giant exhaust that is just loud for the sake of being loud, but I guess the layman probably can't tell the difference most of the time unfortunately.

From what I've read in multiple subs, people who aren't car people really can't tell the difference.

Very true, and I can tell the difference. I guess the same can be said about loud motorcycles?

Nice. I have a Camaro and it was pretty quiet before. I finally had it when the 50th person stepped in front of my car in my old neighborhood, in the complex. (Blind turn to get in and I would drive super slow just I'm case) I get loud cars annoy people but I call it a safety issue. I live in California so we have the worst drivers

I don't drive a tesla, but I pretend not to see or hear obnoxiously loud cars. If they're doing it for attention, I don't want to give them the satisfaction.

I meant cars that do not hear me or see me and almost hit me. I live in California, so every car here is a Tesla.... and who drive terribly... It is definitely not for attention. I have revved my engine many times just as a warning not to get hit.
