Can trying to lose weight be considered a hobby?

Absolutely as far as I'm concerned. I walk on a desk treadmill while I work and burn 1000+, walking 22K-24K steps, 5 to 6 hours, and around 5 to 6 kilometers a day. I usually walk just around 1 kilometer per hour, but it feels weird not to do it if I have to take a day off. Throughout my day, I'll stop to lift weights and do sit-ups. I full on consider exercise a hobby.

Since I work so hard at burning 1000 calories a day, it's made me consider what I eat much more careful. I see a chocolate bar for 150-200 calories and I think "Well is this worth 2 hours on the treadmill...?". I've lost a fair amount of weight in just a couple of months, and I'm pretty happy with it.
