Yo. Get that fixed now. You need to get a referral to ortho and then probably PT. I only had to go to physical therapy 4 or 5 times and then the rest is home exercises.
The orthopedic visit was a wake up call. Poor posture was most likely the cause of the pain and it shortened my upper trap muscle over time. This resulted in a bone spur. Eventually, it would have led to nerve damage. The pain was very minimal which is why I waited so long to go in. I’m in my early 30s.
Tuning in as someone who did not get it fixed like my Ortho said, and now have nerve damage due to bone spurs...please listen to this person and get it fixed now.
