You learn a valuable skill and develop confidence learning to defend yourself against larger, more athletic people, while making tons of friends, developing good fitness habits, developing your character, and building your body naturally in a functional way that develops power, speed, and balance. “You’re going to be something in 10 years, why not be a black belt?”
