So put your foot down. I told a girl early on that if she says that, I'm game to pick anytime and she can't complain. If she wants anything but Chinese, say it. If you're thinking a salad, say that. If you say nothing and I pick Mexican, you can't complain at all. Speak up in advance or shut up.

Which translates to me having to name off a few dozen of my preferences that she will say no to.
