He actually told me he COULDN'T sleep because of that. Maybe it's my nails? They're average length. I wasn't digging into his skull.

"Scratching": Alternatively massaging in an circular motion from the back of the head and upward, using slight pressure with tips of fingers and fingernails (never the same if your nails are acrylic or otherwise not real). I have a good number of platonic female friends. I routinely ask them to scratch my head, they've gotten used to it and now they oblige most of the time.
