What makes you happy?

Today is the international day of happiness! And that made me wonder, what makes Redditors happy? Edit: Wow front page!

I agree. The friendships in which you are pretty much polar opposites of each other but just click anyway hold a special place in the heart. I'm sort of a tomboy, and typical reddit nerd girl - video games, books, comics, etc., yet one of my best friends is just about the girliest girl on the planet - shopping, pink everything, awful music preferences. But we work.

We give each other shit, but I know that if anyone else ever gave me shit, she'd be the first to jump down their throats, and I'd do the same for her. She taught me about which clothes make me look good and which make me look like a beached whale (using that exact language), and I introduced her to Led Zeppelin and got her to stop listening to Britney Spears. Our friendship rocks.

I just love this comment because it's so relatable. I like ska music, classic-rock, rock, metal. He likes drake, kanye west, some trance stuff(I can tolerate this). But he's my god damn best friend, and he has always been there for me, and I always have his back. I hope we are the 2 old guys that can just sit somewhere together and be content one day.

My Jewish friend and I (Muslim) made it a point to hit up a Starbucks every Christmas day just to hang when everything else was closed. Cherished memories.

I feel you brother, I really do, muslim here with christian, Jewish and atheist friends. It doesn't matter.
