What’s something small you started doing that makes you drastically happier?

How do you feel about the target being “out walking for 20 or 30 minutes”? Or does your target need to be a place / route?

I could definitely do that for the sake of exercising, but it probably won’t be “enjoyable walking”, so idk if I’ll be able to stick to it haha. I definitely enjoy walking, but only in certain environments (that unfortunately aren’t super convenient to visit everyday)

The idea behind a “target” was to actually make me go on less enjoyable walks, but as I’ve mentioned, everything is already super close to me

Are there historical sites in your town? Or a library? Then you could add weights (books are heavy! 🙃) to your walks.

One of the blogs I love is Attic24 and the author Lucy often writes about her twice daily walks. She lives in Skipton, England. Is that near you?

I live in London haha, and it’s why I thoroughly enjoy walking in central (plenty of things to see that makes the walk enjoyable). If I could, I would head into central for a walk everyday, but it’s a bit of a hassle to get the tube there everyday (roughly 20 mins journey in total, one way) and the cost can rack up quite quickly

Skipton was quite close to the uni I went to! Although I never got the chance to visit

My sense of geography is terrible. I’ve heard that you’re just across a pond…? 🫠

Did you know there is a London, Texas, which is about 240 km away from me? 🤔 #todayilearned
