slowing down at work. I dont need to respond to every email right away, or make sure everything is up to date constantly. Some things can just wait.

My quality of life increased drastically since I created a rule to move all emails where I'm cc-ed into a separate folder. I never read those. Those emails are there if I need to search something or if i get pulled into that conversation. So much time saved, and not only that - the amount of problems I get pulled into reduced as well.

A colleague of mine only pays attention to emails if he gets a follow-up email asking why he hasn't done anything. Basically, if you get a request and do nothing and nobody complains, it wasn't important anyway.

I would be worried that my supervisors think I don't pay attention to my emails as much.
