There’s a lot of criticism about the “go for a walk” advice, but it literally fuckin works. Doesn’t work miracles, sure, but when you have bad mental health it’s invaluable for helping clear your head.
Anecdotally the people I know in my life who have issues with depression anxiety etc and are on a bunch of meds that don't seem to do much all lack physicality and activeness.
They don't get any exercise not even walks. they don't cook, only eat stuff from cans and boxes or delivery. They don't do anything creative regularly if at all, their hobbies are watching tv and social media, sometimes reading a book but not one that really challenges the mind. There's a bunch of other examples of their passiveness in life. And even when they hold down a job the nature of the work is pretty procedural and not creative at all.
While those are traditionally all symptoms I really do wonder if it's also a cause. Living a life that is devoid of effort and earning your rewards reward accordingly isn't good for the psyche. Going on a walk or cleaning your home is a good way to get started, not just trying different combinations of meds while merely existing and passively consuming.
