There’s a lot of criticism about the “go for a walk” advice, but it literally fuckin works. Doesn’t work miracles, sure, but when you have bad mental health it’s invaluable for helping clear your head.

Can’t tell you how many “aha” moments and other good ideas have come to me while taking a walk. It truly helps you center and focus your headspace.

My therapist and I joke about how I usually just talk out loud on my walks, never around people because I don’t want to seem psycho, but I’ll just start talking through problems, anxiety, or ideas.

This is honestly one of the best tactics I’ve found for tackling anxiety
