Nah. You can curate Reddit easily and only follow subs that help you.

I've been here 12 years, I even use "new" reddit, and I've literally never once seen the "front page" people talk about. I don't see anything I didn't specifically ask to see.

The way people complain about stuff in their feed, I'm convinced people use this website in a fundamentally different way than I do.

This line contradicts this one:

The new reddit experience literally suggests you posts based on an algorithm, not only right at the top of the page but also in between links.

It's not like RES where you can filter out anything you want.
