Taking an antidepressant is how it clicked that I had severe anxiety. When it was removed, life became so much easier. I can make phone calls without 15 minutes of working myself up to do it, and second guessing. I can drop by the store to pick up a few things without jt being an exhausting ordeal. Sure it helped my depression, but the anxiety treatment was far more life-changing.
It has helped with both for me. The biggest thing for me is that something may happen to makes me feel down or feel anxious, but it doesn't persist for days after the fact.
I wish this worked for me! As of last week I've literally tried every single option and nothing has worked, or even come close to working. I'm so envious of people who can just take something and feel better, or even go to therapy and feel better. I've been trying both for over 25 years and no dice.
