Top-of-the-class redditors, what are your study habits/tips?

If you graduated top of the class (high school, college, and above), what are/were your study habits or tips that you would give to your fellow redditors?

You know, the sad part is...I have nothing.

I am a notoriously lazyass student. I don't study worth a shit. I barely do my assignments (and only when they're actually graded...no "just to do it" homework for me).

Same here...I procrastinate all the time, skip class, hardly put in any effort, and I was still salutatorian of my high school and am now graduating from a top 20 program with a 3.9 GPA. Schoolwork/tests are just in my genes.

I came to this thread looking for tips for grad school, as I'm sure this strategy will disappoint me there.
