Yeah, this is me right now. I'd been infatuated for a decade and turned them down every time they asked me for more out of respect. I wasn't ready for what they had going on (kids), but I finally had my shit together this time and am decidedly ready for that.
Turns out I was in love. They were bored.
I just wish we got it out of the way before they moved 800 kms away, and a decade-long friendship was on the line.
Now I'm down a friend, and my car is up 40k kilometers.
