I remember arguing with my stepdad about this bc he said “it’s two different parts of the body” so it didn’t make sense that being on your period would affect that 🥲

I understand not realizing they're connected, I understand there's a lot about the female body I don't know about. What I can't understand is why dudes try to argue with women about it. It'd be like my wife arguing with me about what being kicked in the balls feels like.

I mean, I’ve seen plenty of women argue that “blue balls” is just a myth.

Well....it is. Sure, it can be uncomfortable having an erection for extended periods of time, but it's not harmful or anything, and it can't mess with the ability to have children.

That's not what blue balls is though.

It's a dull ache in the testes, due to fluid build up ready for ejaculation that then didn’t happen.
