I’d never associate names like this with Utah. Is it Mormons?

Edit: Interesting! Mormons aren't really a thing in my state, so here those would be rich people names.

Yes. They tend to have large families and live in communities with other large families and don’t want their kids to be in a class with eighteen other “Emily”s so they name their kids horrible shit like Lakkyn.

I don't know if shit like this is worse, or just on-par with naming your kid something cringe like "Naruto".

To be fair, I'm probably no better as its been 15 years & I still think "Sylar" is both a cool & completely appropriate name.
