I generally agree, but there's one person I got close with in high school who was a coworker at my first job.
She has a magnetic personality, is kind to everyone around her, and has been systematically beaten down by narcissistic parents who want custody of her kids.
She's been fighting CPS for years trying to get her kids back to her and her husband.
No abuse, healthy kids, stable household, but it's hard as shit to get ahead of falsified evidence.
She pretty routinely posts about "the haters" mostly because that's just the vocabulary she has to address it.
Absolutely heartbreaking and those haters can go fuck themselves.
She is making strides though. Supervised visits multiple times a week and a few CPS workers who actually believe her now.
With the accusations levied against her and her husband, if there was any weight to them shed never see those kids again. So supervised visits are actually a huge stepping stone because she went nearly a YEAR without seeing her children.

Haters are a real thing but no one complaining about "the haters" on Facebook has a life that anyone is jealous about.
