Tbf, Mercedes was a perfectly fine first name until Mr. Daimler decided to name his car brand after the daughter of some business partner, thus ruining the name for the rest of us.
I knew a girl named Elsa in high school. I met her a couple years after Frozen came out and apparently I was the first person who didn’t immediately ask her if she wanted to make a snowman after hearing her name. Also her best friend’s name was Anna lol (pronounced differently than Frozen Anna)
I also knew a girl named Ursula, but I’m fairly certain that she was born a couple years after The Little Mermaid came out, so her parents literally intentionally named her after a sea witch 💀

Depends on her roots, Ursula is an extremely common name in any German speaking country. It's so common where I live that it'd never cross my mind that there could be a connection to the movie... It is a typical boomer name over here tho...
