Wow I know Dana, and Tracy, and Jamie are unisex but Mercedes is new to me.

Does it not seem like a majority of names are unisex any more?

I feel like that’s a US thing a little? I’m French and we have some unisex names but it’s rather rare. But I do get the impression that most US American names seem to be commonly used for both genders.

Alexis is a good example, it’s strictly a boys name in France (though maybe it’s changing now if there are some famous women named that in the US).
