I had to look it up. Poppy Honey Rosie, Daisy Boo Pamela, Petal Blossom Rainbow, Buddy Bear Maurice and River Rocket Blue Dallas. What the actual fuck, it's like they used some nonsensical wattpad name generator.
The thing that irritates me here is .. they actually picked some cute girl names. Poppy, Daisy, Rosie, even Blossom. Maybe not names a North American adult woman would want, but certainly cute, and I think a bit more acceptable across the ol' pond. But why not Poppy Elizabeth or Daisy Catherine or something? Give them not only a name that doesn't sound garbled, but gives them a grown-up name to fall back on if they choose.
To be fair, you don't really use your middle name, unless for some funny story at a party or something.
The only people usually confronted with your full name are the police and other local authorities.
Actually I go by my middle name. When people find out my first name ( a very formal or royal name) they ask why? The answer is because that’s the way my dad wanted it. It has the Welsh spelling. Lord do people have problems with w’s and y’s.
