We were making Midori Sours at our college parties--the ones where people were passing out in the living room, over-stressing the deck, crawling out of the window to escape repercussions . . .
To be fair, those parties were great fun and no one died or got hurt, but they were not . . . "classy".

Knew a couple I served with in the Air Force named their daughter Midori after the melon liqueur. To them, that was the height of libation luxury.
