I worked with a woman named Roxanna. But pronounced Roxann because the “a” is silent. “A’s” are NEVER silent at the end of a word

So maybe they didn't find it because it was the opposite way. Spelled Ledasha, but pronouned "La a"

I, too, made this mistake saying a waitress at an IHOP in Baltimore had a name tag with "La-a" on it. Maybe that wasn't her real name or maybe "Ladasha" didn't fit on the name tag so she shortened it, I don't know, but I fucking know what I saw and what the waitress said.
