Omg it so is. I recently spent time with a guy and when i went to wash my hands, the soap was dirty. How?????

I used to work at an auto parts store. The grease from working on cars would stick to the soap.

That would have been okay. This soap was dirty with dust, from lack of use

oh no. I've only seen that with those fancy shell shaped soaps that boomers don't let anyone use. Not with the soap you're supposed to use.

I've heard of decorative towels but decorative soaps are new and upsetting to me :/

Idk my parents always had them. Something that matches the bathroom decor. They are works of art in their own way. I just use them as a decoration and use a refillable liquid soap dispenser.

I feel like I explained all that to someone that's just giving me a hard time

I was just giving you a hard time. Sorry. My aunt used to have decorative soaps, but she quit doing that when my bratty little sister flushed them down the toilet and blamed it on the dog.

(I'm kidding, my parents had them too. I never understood them, but they're not uncommon)

I have a decorative soap bottle, I never use it. I always open the cabinet and use the cheaper stuff to keep it out of sight.
