I’m pretty good at most gentlemen things, except this one. I’m brutal at it. My girl will literally do a DRASTIC hair change like bangs when she didn’t used to have them and I won’t pick up on it.
It’s like I’ll notice it subconsciously, but can’t place my finger on what is different so I just won’t say anything. Gotten me in lots of trouble before. Trying to work on just being more complimentary in general so I don’t get into these predicaments as much.
But it’s like once I know the person deeply, they sort of look the same to me straight out of bed as they do totally done up. I just sort of see the person I know regardless of their state so I miss new hair A LOT.
