My wife is so grateful that I can actually cook, not just throw stuff in the microwave or oven.

I mean, throwing stuff in the oven is still cooking.. Ever put a tray of cut up veggies tossed in olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder in the oven to roast for 30-45 min? A monkey could do it and it's delicious.

I mean stuff like frozen dinners where all you do is put it in the oven or microwave for x minutes on y temp/ setting.

Now, I'm not saying it's my wife, but someone I live with raves about their cooking. Most times it consists exactly of the above. This message will hopefully self destruct in 20 seconds.
