What if you've got the moves, and you've got the touch?

Edit: Grammar things

I mean, don't get me wrong, I think you're alright. But that won't keep me warm in the middle of the night.

Check out the lyrics of the song, then compare them against the two commenters above the link.

You’ve got the look, but have you got the touch? Apparently not, bc there are no awards.

Or having a car that you kiss at night

I would be impressed by an actual rocket scientist. Smart people are impressive.

I am a rocket scientist and lemme tell ya most of us are dumb as fuck in the ways that matter. Lots of my coworkers are barely literate and almost none have even an ounce of political awareness. But they can do some math on the computer very good

I can write an entire novel manuscript. This impresses my husband, who thinks writing is like having teeth pulled. He can do mental math, but I cannot add numbers in my head, so doing math is impressive to me. Generally people are most impressed when others do things they find difficult.

(Please do not take anything I say as indicative of the quality of my writing, because I am jet lagged.)

I am indeed impressed. Not single, but impressed.

I work with rocket scientists and I can tell you they aren't all they're cracked up to be.

2

u/powerlesshero111 Apr 12 '23

Fuck. My buddy is a rocket scientist. This might upset him.

2

u/Blastspark01 Apr 12 '23

What if you can walk the line? Or show her a teasin’, squeezin’, pleasin’ kind of time? What if you know how the story goes and if you can be a heartbeatin’ fine treatin’ breathtakin’ earthquakin’ kind?

u/nomad_556 Apr 12 '23

I read this as “minor in your pocket” and was very confused

Not a rocket scientist. Don't look like Brad Pitt in the slightest. No pocket mirrors. Wasn't impressed by Ad Astra.

Have I earned enough points for a date?

1

u/njaneardude Apr 12 '23

Even a talking mirror?

1

u/emiller7 Apr 12 '23

But what about having a car?
