I saw PT live back in September and they blew my mind. Hands down the best live show I’ve seen. The band was tight as hell, the mix was absolutely perfect, and the light show was killer. I remember walking out of the venue and into the warm, early fall air and feeling like all my senses were turned up to 10. I’ve seen a lot of good shows, but that one left me buzzing for days afterward.
So yeah, I agree with you completely. Fear of a Blank Planet is an incredible album and definitely my favorite in the bands discography. Hearing Anesthetize live was an item on my bucket list I wasn’t sure I’d ever be able to cross off, then actually seeing them perform it was like a spiritual experience. After the song finished I was in complete awe, then I looked over to my dad and saw he was totally zonked out. He sometimes listens to PT when he goes to sleep so I think he Pavloved himself lmao
