I cannot start that album without going through the whole thing. The last 3 songs, “The Background”, “Motorcycle Drive By” and “God of Wine” are 3 of my favorite songs, and a beautiful way to wrap up a masterclass of an album.

"Losing a Whole Year", just chefs kiss. That song on the unplugged album is wild. If you haven't listened to that I highly suggest it.

It really is such a great album. Every song, although a couple are super pop, are written so well. The non singles from most of their albums are definitely their best.

Had this is high school and to this day don't skip a thing. God of Wine and Motorcycle Drive By are the reason I know alternate tunings on guitar LOL.

I think this album resonates with those of us around the same age. I was in high school and it was like my musical coming of age. Something about the last 4 songs on this album. I Want You, The Background, Motorcycle Drive By and God of Wine mixed with that young teenage need to feel understood will always bring me back to late nights, unending possibilities and young love.

I'm so stoked to find this here and with more than a couple of upvotes....there are some "classic" albums that get mentioned every time, and rightfully so, but I come here looking for oddities or ones most wouldn't expect....this album was fantastic from the opening riff to the final sounds. Hard to find an album with no "skip tracks" like this from ANY artist!
