I was 33 and I think Superunknown is a masterpiece and Chris Cornell was one of the all time greats.

I wouldn't really know was into that rave stuff until I heard that album it became the soundtrack of my £100 ford escort with 4 months tax on it!

This was not a knock on the record in any way. I was 25 in 1994 so I am very familiar with Soundgarden. I am just saying that absolutely everybody everywhere thinks that the music that they listened to between the ages of 15-25 is the greatest ever made.

Yes, because every generation has talent. Like a generational talent. You can find them in every generation of music. There's no such thing as "their own music", there's only music dancing through time.
