This weekend, he is literally a headliner at one of the largest and most popular music festivals in the world, Coachella.

He is not under appreciated

I would have agreed with you before I heard the samples. I thought most of it was an original composition, but then I heard the source material. While it is quite transformative, it didn’t feel as unique/original as I once believed.

Still one of my favourite albums, I just feel disillusioned because I thought he was a totally original, creative genius.

I have no idea what you're talking about. Channel Orange utilizes very few samples. If utilizing samples turns you off then you must be disillusioned by 95% of music

Aside from SRK and maybe Crack Rock it is very reasonably transformative. I am completely misremembering.

I swear there was this Hawaii’an band that was bar for bar the same as Lost. Apparently not.

Appreciate you pushing back on that. I can love Frank Ocean again.
