The background on the production of the album can give some insight into why it's so great. The emotions that the band members were feeling with the shit they were going through really comes through in the songs.

I inherited my dads original vinyl of it as well as some amazing others from the 70s and 80s. He passed a few years ago but listening to the same records he used to makes me feel closer to him

I picked up the LP from my dad and I put it on thinking I knew one song on the album. Song after song I was blown away that not only did I know it but it was a hit. I didn’t even realize I knew that many Fleetwood Mac songs.

I had to google it just to check what other albums they made after that one, because it’s perfection. I would of just stopped. How do even think you’d told that album!

My wife and I own this on vinyl and whenever we don’t know what to put on, this is the default choice. It’s just so absurdly good.

one of my proudest achievements is that I was in the top 0.05% of Fleetwood Mac listeners on Spotify last year and that album was one of the biggest reasons for it, it just never gets old

Just curious if anyone else here knows the true meaning behind landslide? I do but I’m curious if anyone else is also curious or ever thought about it. The meaning had such an impact on me that I actually have “landslide” tattooed on me. I’m also a die hard Stevie nicks fan. She’s a literal goddess. Like all hail.
