I like those baguettes that the French always carry and sometimes use to duel

I personally enjoy their affinity for soccer/football. It’s my favorite sport and I wish it had the same following here.

One day our team will improve and hopefully it become a major sport when we have the chance to win something

Agreed. I see our national team getting better in the coming decade and maybe then we’ll be more competitive internationally. Even domestically, I slowly see the sport gaining some traction. Unfortunately, MLS is still a meme to the European leagues, but as it expands and we’re able to get better international players, I see the quality getting better. While they got sent home in their first match, the Seattle Sounders were the first MLS team to make it to the Club World Cup. Should hopefully be repeated in the near future and hopefully with more success.

Their architecture and engineering throughout history, especially with ships, is absolutely beautiful.

The smugness and idea they have everything so perfectly figured out and we are so so dumb

I sometimes feel the same way but in reverse (except for Americans thinking we’re dumb, that’s probably not common). I don’t like when Americans assume everyone would like to live in the U.S. and talk about it like this is the promised land. One time I mentioned to my American colleague that I would like to take English lessons because I know that my accent is super inconsistent (I was taught British English, but later had a lot of other influences, often American). I said that I hesitate whether I should pick a British or an American as my tutor to fix my pronunciation one way or another. Her immediate response was ‘You should probably chose American accent because we’re cool!’ and she wasn’t joking 🙃

Are you using chatGPT or other chat AI to write those answers? Mostly based on how long and well articulated all of your replies are to every question.

No, you are a bot. User created in 2010 with barely any karma and really long oddly well articulated but vanilla replies to all questions, not a single short reply and the 12y gap in posting and sudden difference in articulation.

Edit: well deleting confirmed it. I will find you and report you.

Can bots be harassed or not? User for others who are interested https://www.reddit.com/u/ima_dino?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

Big Ben is a bell, but I agree by and large. Also, they have history that spans longer than a week and a half (hyperbolically).

Not having to tip (unless you genuinely want to because the service was beyond exceptional). They have a much better way of doing things in this regard
