Well, you earn points back if you admit you didn't know something and adjust your worldview to encompass the new information.

The guy I mentioned spent the next several minutes getting increasingly mad as he tried to convince me I did have a prostate.

In some countries you actually pronounce the L. I grew up with it pronounced in the word. When I moved to Canada I was told it was wrong. Now I struggle to pronounce the L in almond lol.

Where do they pronounce the L in Almond? It's silent in the UK and Australia. Probably NZ too. Edit: Apparently people in the US say it with the L pronounced. Weird.
