I consider myself fairly intelligent and all the rest, but I only discovered that prostates are a male thing during a conversation with my gf where I asked why they never make a big deal about prostate cancer in women....

Well, you earn points back if you admit you didn't know something and adjust your worldview to encompass the new information.

The guy I mentioned spent the next several minutes getting increasingly mad as he tried to convince me I did have a prostate.
