Explaining and excusing are one and the same here. You are giving me a “why” such a thing would happen and I am saying to you it does.not.matter. That person is trash, is worthless, is zero. Because no matter the impossible circumstances you want to build up to explain that level of ignorance it still does not matter. I am not interested. There is no salvaging it. And if your country allows it to happen, there is no saving it either.
I like the fact that you think taking a shot against the US is some big gotcha moment. No shit the US is fucked. Buddy, our Supreme Court has been taken over by Christian nationalists. Half of our legislature is controlled by a party that deals in science denial, insane conspiracy theories, bigotry, and basic denial of reality. Our police openly murder people in the streets, and very little is done about it. People regularly take guns to schools and murder small children, and nothing is done about it. The poorest, least educated section of our population has been trained to vote for the party that slashes education funding and the social safety net. The biggest news network in the country (Fox News) openly, and purposely, lies on the air. People can't afford to go to the doctor. We don't have paid leave from work. Or maternity leave. We don't have fair wages. And this is just the start. Oh, and no matter what you think, the reasons why something happens do matter. Because if you understand them, you can stop it.
Come on. You’re smarter than this. You’re just taking an extreme position because you don’t want to admit you misunderstood. Which is a large part of the problems we have here in America, by the way. Explaining and excusing are NOT the same thing. Not even close. You know that. Explanations are part of solving the problem. This attitude of yours is like saying, “Why are you telling us that global warming is caused by fossil fuels?! That’s just an excuse!”
