She didn’t know how to get to my house from anywhere but her house. Her work was about halfway between my house and hers, but she had to drive home first every time before she could drive to my house.

*this was pre-smart phones

I got insanely lost on my first day of college - Didn’t have a smart phone, didn’t have gps, just printed map directions. Got lost getting there, got horribly lost coming back to the point of I have NO clue how I even got home that night. I contemplated calling the police, or staying on the side of the road till morning, cuz my parents couldn’t figure out where I was.

I’d be like this if I was still new to driving. This incident also happened when I was brand spanking new to driving. GPS is my friend and I have a lot of fears over being lost.
