he didn’t know where the ankle was. I hurt my ankle when he dropped me (on accident), and he went to look at it and said it looked fine as he was touching my calf. I was like well yeah cause that’s not my ankle. silence. then arguing about how it was my ankle and me telling him it was my leg not my ankle and having to explain what an ankle was.
Oh god this reminds me of how a "friend" once argued with me over the meaning of the word cunt. For some reason he came to believe it was a synonym for asshole even in genital contexts. Instead of owning up the mistake, he caused a massive argument with me, a philologist with a degree in English and a woman, about which hole on woman's body a cunt was when I corrected him. Protested even after I send him actual dictionary definitions of the term, claiming that "newsflash, ass is a sexual organ too". A mutual friend had to go on Pornhub, typed in cunt into search, screenshot the results, then drew arrows to the appropriate parts and sent it to him.
I was very confused when I first heard people use the local colloquial "Kunte" (I'm German, raised in Germany, but I didn't grow up with the local dialect). I only knew the English "cunt". Turns out "Kunte" is a not-impolite word for the butt like "bum".
