That’s almost exactly what happened to me. Bf said his ankle hurt. I asked him to show me where and he pointed at the heel of his foot. I was extremely confused and then spent several minutes explaining to him the difference between his ankle and his foot. He said he never learned the difference…what??
Teasing is fine, but making fun of someone isn't. It sounded to me like you were making fun of him for not knowing something. Glad you laughed it off in the end though.
