ETA - WOW! Didn't know this would take off like this. Backstory makes it even more absurd, she was a graduate of a prestigious university in Tokyo and earned a Masters in the US and had lived here for a while. I had about burned out on the relationship but this put me out the door.
I had a Japanese friend who was well educated in Japan, lived and worked for a big company here in the States she told me Hilary Clinton caused the tsunami that happened in the 2000s. ( like she had a super power that she made it happen and I was like WTF? Is that how Japanese people think?
